ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Challenge
Super League Basketball, a new club-backed basketball league, born from the end of the old BBL needed a new brand identity to match its’ new name. The challenge was to create a brand identity that felt instantly premium, modern, and authentic to basketball culture representing a new era of British Basketball. The brand needed to work across broadcast, digital, venues, merchandising, and partnerships.
The Insight
A new league needs a visual language that feels iconic and timeless — not trend-led — so it can grow into a recognised cultural institution.
The Solution
We developed a bold, flexible brand identity that resonated with a diverse, established audience. The visual system is built around a strong, recognisable mark and a dynamic graphic language that translates across motion, apparel, and digital platforms. S With a tight three-week deadline, we delivered a bold new logo, vibrant colour palette, and striking typography, while also designing assets to elevate the livestream broadcast experience.
The Result
The new identity positioned Super League Basketball as a credible and compelling league from day one, providing a cohesive visual framework that supports broadcast presentation, fan engagement, and commercial growth.
