How do you announce the arrival of one of rugby’s biggest names? That was the challenge we tackled with Bristol Bears when unveiling Ilona Maher.

 

With a global audience of over seven million followers, Ilona’s reach was undeniable, and we wanted to make the most of it. From the moment she touched down in the UK, we documented her journey, capturing behind-the-scenes moments that built anticipation and connection.

 

Early conversations with Ilona and her agent made it clear that authenticity mattered. Every piece of content generated was a reflection of her personality and resonated with her audience. So instead of dictating the approach, we collaborated closely with her to co-create an announcement video that felt true to her brand, aligned with Bristol Bears and engaged her fans. 

 

The impact spoke for itself. 4.6 million views on the announcement video and over 1 million views on the behind-the-scenes content.
